A spelling mistake was observed in the +2 Higher Secondary Biology Examination conducted on 21.03.2013. In the question type A, in Part- I Botany, in the Question Number 14, the word Trichoblasts is spelled as Trichoplasts in one of the alternative. As the word Trichoplast gives a different meaning, the students were confused and considered it as a wrong answer. Hence, we kindly request the teachers and school administrators to bring this information to the concerned authorities so that any answer for this question may be awarded marks. As even one mark is counted for professional course admissions, because of this spelling error our Tamilnadu students should not be affected. Hence I request all higher secondary school teachers and school administrators to represent this matters to the directorate and other appropriate authorities.R.Panneer
